Our Purpose
Springboard AI helps staff in mission-driven organizations move from AI awareness to AI action. We provide live virtual training built specifically for the social sector, and a comprehensive AI Information & Referral Hub that connects nonprofit professionals with the resources they need.
For Funders
Funders expect grantees to achieve maximum impact, and that’s hard to do if they
aren’t using AI effectively. If you want to ensure your grantees are using AI productively
and responsibly, Springboard AI offers a proven, cost-effective solution. A single
sponsored session can move an entire grantee portfolio from reluctance to action.
Training launches Fall, 2026.

A Proven Approach
Our 2025 field scan of 25 nonprofit leaders, AI trainers, and funders found that while
71% of nonprofit staff were aware of AI, only 40–50% were using it at all and just 10% were using it effectively.
The #1 barrier wasn’t technical: it was the absence of inspiration, permission, and powerful examples.
So we built and tested a solution.
During our 2026 pilot, designed and delivered by PLAI and fiscally sponsored by Forward Global,
over 500 nonprofit professionals attended one of four 90- minute virtual sessions with attendance ranging from 100 to 240.
The results:
-
Session quality rated 9/10
-
6 in 7 participants showed measurable gains in AI confidence, with the effects seen at all expertise levels
-
More than 9 in 10 non-users reported high intent to use AI in their work within the week
With this success, we’re taking the model to scale.
